If you haven’t scheduled your wellness visit/exams for your child for back to school, now is the time to book your appointments! You should also make sure your children are up-to-date on recommended vaccines. If your child is entering kindergarten or 7th grade, or plans on participating in a sport, they are required to have updated vaccinations.
During the chat, we will also be discussing back to school tips & recommendations for the summer, such as:
- Keep them on a schedule so that, when it’s time to go back to school, they’re ready.
- Maintain a consistent bedtime
- Keep them reading (kids forget 80% of what they learn every year if they’re not consistently reinforcing it).
- Help your kids stay active and ready to learn over the summer.
