THE GUILT TRIP- THE MOVIE (Art Imitating Life?)

Sooooo... I was sitting on the bed with My Little One, me on the laptop and her on my iPad (thanks again Ford) spending our last hours together, waiting for my son Marine Mac to come pick her up and take her back to Miami for college, and I get an email asking me to watch a trailer for Barbra Streisand's latest movie.  Here the S Sisters make another appearance in my world- just last night I pulled the Guilt Card ( I'm a mom, I'm entitled) when she said she was going to spend the noche at a friends' home.  It didn't work of course, but I did try.

Apparently Joyce Brewster (Barbra Streisand) is more successful than Babushka at THE GUILT TRIP game, because her son Andy (Seth Rogen) is guilted into taking her on a 3,000 mile roadtrip across the country, and as the promo poster says- "It's One Mother of a Road Trip."

All My Little One could do was laugh "Oh Ma, that's so yooooou!" Repeatedly.  Don't know whether to agree or give her a good ::BOPASO::  Quueee??  JU SO FONII!!!  Ok si, just because I did do something like that in the opening to MarineMac (he was in highschool and it had to do w/underarm hair- don't ask) and GPS systems and BB aren't on good terms, my max w/out dating was only 5 years, and I can NOT eat a steak that size.  Chocolate definitely, but not a steak.

Nice that My LIttle One and I could enjoy some laughs before she left.  I'm sure we're going to buy this one when it comes out and watch it together when she comes home to visit. 

 Meanwhile, I'm going to the movie theatre and memorize Ma Brewster's technique...
