My Last Day in Miami Part 2- Day 12 of SMCSF 30 day blog challenge

On my way from the fan exhibition I passed by the MDC Downtown campus job fair. Queee??  JU SO FONII!!!  No you didn't miss the post about the exhibition.  Remember what I said about the Method to My Madness? BB's gonna post daily which is dependable- now the order or what it'll be about... there's where predictability goes with the chancleta.  You never know where it's gonna be thrown.

Continuing.   Each Miami Dade College campus has their yearly job fair and on this day the co-chairs of the downtown campus, Consuelo Perez and Isabel Martinez - of the Advisement & Career Services Dept., were busy coordinating over 700 students with potential employers. The place was jumping and spirits high, nice to feel hope and possiilities in the air. The ladies informed Babushka that each campus hosts one of these fairs so if you're interested in participating please go to the campus website.

To attend these job fairs you must be a student, but how do you become one?  It seems the S Sisters were doing their magic again, because just this week I was sent an email on getting students into college.  Don't you just love the hermanas??  Here's the info sent to BB.

Overall Information:

·         New Futuro is a social Latino education community helping families get their students into college and beyond. The organization helps students prepare, apply and pay for college. It also features the biggest online tracker of Hispanic scholarships.

·         Next Saturday, October 27^th, New Futuro is bringing a free College Prep Fair to Miami!
