It's midnight, perfecto hora to write about Cinderella no creen? Back when BB was bb, her favorite Princesa was Cinderella. The mystery of identity and the comeuppance at the end, and of course the romance were part of the enchantment. The same is true in this version, pero with so much more!

Let's start with the studio synopsis-

Finley Tremaine (played by Bailee Madison), a small-town farm girl, longs to spread her wings and soar as an aspiring performer. When a Hollywood film crew arrives in her sleepy town, she is determined to land a role in the production and capture the attention of handsome lead actor Jackson Stone (played by Michael Evans Behling). Unfortunately, a botched audition forces her to change course. Now, disguised as cowboy “Huck,” Finley finally gets her big break. But can she keep the charade a secret from everyone, including her evil stepmother (played by April Telek) and devious step-siblings (played by Lillian Doucet-Roche and Richard Harmon)?

Looks like fun verdad?

Also fun and yummy was the actual dvd and cookies. Porque all movies should have snacks right??

The pelicula, though the tema wasn't new, Babushka enjoyed the new take. Si, it's still about dreams, has struggles and romance, pero not quite like before. En este, Cinderella (Finley) wants to be a performer (ya saben that right there BB was rooting for her) , but of course her wicked stepfamily will have nada doing for that. Another modern angle on that familia was having a male figure, but they were still as uppity as the originals, and the nuance was much enjoyed. Pero the best part for BB was when Finley claimed her worth and selfbelief  to all. Si, she did get the principe and her dreams, but it was on her terms, her way.  She was her own fairy godmother. Eso!

A Cinderella Story: Starstruck will be available on Digital for $14.99 SRP ($14.99 in Canada), and on DVD for $19.98 SRP ($24.98 in Canada)

Our amigos of Allied Contigo invitaron a BB's Bunch to preview Disney's latest live action remake, Beauty and the Beast. Opinions are Babushka's.

They were beguiled.

Babushka's bunch found the movie engulfing, entrancing y Excelente!! They were transformed to another world, and though they knew the story, they couldn't help but be enchanted by all the enchantment.  Effects, characters, all of it BUENISIMO.
