Y’all know the old saying, “Everything Old is New Again”? Bueno, they ain’t just whistlin’ La Guantanamera. Two of BB’s favoritos, things she’s written before, are back in the spotlight and it’s time to write about them again. Pero first, Babushka turned 62 in 2024.
Wow and Woah.
All things considered, not looking too bad if she says so herself. Have been asked many times how do I keep the skin so smooth and free of wrinkles? Primero, genetics- ya can’t beat that long reaching Asian blood. Segundo, there are reasons the ancient ways and knowledge continue to be used today. Specifically speaking of Silver and its known beneficial properties. Love the smell and the feel of the nightly face cleaning with this jabon. BB's been using it for years.
Of course a smile always makes one happier and look better too. Plenty of smiles in Babushka’s fond memories of high school; going to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show is one BIG SMILE. The wickedness, wackiness, weirdness, just Wonderful!! Perfect for a teen trying to find their own way, own form of expression. It’s been 49 years. QueQueee?? And this year they’re celebrating con ganas down in Miami’s Arsht Center.
As we Cubans say, "Lo Bueno es Bueno siempre." Good is always good,
and these are not only good, but classics.
