And The Tony for best performance is... Customer Service Reps!

HolaHolaHola Beautifuls!!

Hoy Babushka speaks of a world little appreciated, often complained about, and definitely made fun of- Customer Service, in particular the Call Center. As a veterana of this environment with over 10 years served, BB will illuminate un poquito of the nature of this world.  

Note Babushka used The Tony Award, an award for LIVE theatrical performances. THAT's the premio equivalent to what CSRs do. No recorded conversations here. Stamina, persistance, perserverance DAILY.  To be cheerful and effective over 50 times a day, EVERY DAY. 

THIS is what Customer Service Reps have in mind, what they've been trained to think of and accomplish on every call.  Wow and Woah verdad? 

Ahora, eso si. Is it possible to do all the time on every call?  JU SO FONII!!! But ya gotta give them points for trying. And they really do try, for many reasons. Pride in their work, honestly wanting to help, it's their livelyhood, muchas razones to be personable y profesional. Y aunque callers tend to forget there is a persona de carne y hueso on the other side, the demeaner of a good CSR is courteous and caring.  Of course as they say, "You get more flies with honey than with vinegar." so you try to be nice too and BB guarantees your call will stand out and help will be gladly given and with more sincerity.

Si Beautifuls, this is definitely verdad- both for you AND the CSR,

As previously stated BB, having served more than 10 years in the Call Center Arena she knows this mundo. VERY well. 

DUMB is not the problem, RUDE is.

  Es mas, just recently returned to that mundo and worked para"steady income" for a state division that truly is an example of- 

even got kudos- so BB hasn't lost her touch.

Pero what BB no longer has es el estamina to do over 50 performances a day.

Babushka ended up exhausted.

Babushka's a good actress, pero THAT Tony award goes to others. Dure 5 months.

To quote Steve Jobs-

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it.

Babushka doesn't settle and at this altura knows herself very well.
Advancing age no matchea with status quo.

At least, not in this Babushka's Baile.

How do you measure beauty? Is it an outward, physical thing or is the inner blaze the true beauty of a person? 

 Like most things in our vidas, it's a combination of various factors and opinions. 

HolaHolaHola My Beautifuls!!

Ok si, not the usual way BB starts her posts, but then again, this is not a usual happening.  September 7th is National Donate Your Hair Day, and since 2006 Pantene has lead a campaign to donate natural hair wigs to cancer victims.  Over 28,000 wigs have been donated to the American Cancer Society through the Beautiful Lengths/ Pony Up program and this year they plan to add many more thanks to the collaboration with Walmart to reimburse the cost of the haircut (up to $30).  The Go to Beautiful Lengths initiative is done with lots of heart for those needing help remembering that they truly are Bellas.

Babushka not help in this campaign?  JU SO FONII!! 

This campaign means so very much to Babushka that I had to dedicate it.

Oh Si My Beautifuls, sometimes our definition of beauty changes and surprises us. 

 But no matter what your definition may be, isn't it a blessing to help someone see and feel bella?  

Because we all know, Beauty is as Bella does.
