If y'all remember, Babushka lives in charming Crawfordville , in the beautiful county of Wakulla, in the panhandle of gorgeous Florida. Ok si, soy Cubana and we have a reputation for slightly exaggerating, but if you came up here I know you'd agree. We may be rural, but we're roarin' with bellezas, and in BB's world that includes the arts and food. Queee?? JU SO FONII!!! Not only do we have these here Up North in the South, but we know how to combine them!

There's the Arts-

and here's the food- specifically, seafood.

First class, only the best in both categories.

 Now you know BB loves her twofers and when those twofers are culture and food, it's a definite ESO!!! 

 Pero My Beautifuls, the true beauty here is how Scene in Wakulla & Fresh from Wakulla joined forces to show off not only our treasures, but our dedication to community, when it would have been so much easier to abandon dreams and find something less stressful to chase after.  Scene in Wakulla was organized by Palaver Tree Theater Company president, Herb Donaldson.  Herb's resume is a virtual Who's Who in the theatre, but he came back home to share his knowledge and talents here. Fresh from Wakulla is a collaboration between the Wakulla County Tourism Development Council and the Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce.  Local fishermen and seafood establishments were greatly affected by the BP oil spills, but they are now eager to share with el mundo the excellent seafood found in our waters.

So, out of negative, positives were made.

A lesson BB totally believes in and hopes you remember- you'll be seeing it a lot in the next few posts.
