SoFabUOTR is short for Social Fabric University On The Road.  Quee?? JU SO FONII!! Ok si, it's a mouthful, but it's delicioso! Social Fabric is the group where many favorite sponsored posts come from. My first with them, a coffee giveaway, chances to bring The Boys into my world, and the little boys too.  Also, mi querida Colectiva Latina es parte del grupo, which allowed me to share with La Tata and helped me overcome one of my greatest enemies. Both of these are under the Collective Bias - CBias main sombrilla and they have helped Babushka from getting soaked and rained out many a time.  So many things BB has learned from working with the members, from their "University" where they have online tutorial and the way they mentor, to how to better communicate the nuances of my culture to those not familiar with it. The Beautifuls of #CollectiveBias couldn't have picked a better time for this Grocery Coupon Bonanza, as BB was going to make her famous Grandsons Grand Dogs.  LOTS of Kraft and coupon deals made this an extra happy meal for Babushka, and soon for the boys too!!

This recipe came about after the two weeks I spent with my daughter's son, El Dr.  

Put all his favorite things together to make this snack.

Time to see if the other Grandsons would like it too.

But of course the recipe wouldn't have the same bang without some grandsons helping.

 

Making the Mac N Cheese- PicaPica

Rinquincaya liked the "smashing" part.


Follow the instructions for the MacNCheese.
Combine the cream cheese with the dressing; Ranch is good too.
To either of those add the Parmesan cheese.

Now you place over the cooked, sliced open hot dog and Voila!

Added to the recipe were bacon bits. 
 Shredded cheese is also supposed to be on top, but when it came time to sprinkle them on they were no where to be found. Si. Babushka's Bunch likes their queso.  Also, the original receta was perro calientes on buns, but when in Miami, Cuban Crackers is the way to go.

And speaking of go- What did the Grandsons think of the recipe?

Y'all know BB doesn't do complicated, and she also doesn't do heat, so when there was a chance given for quick, easy meals -especialmente during summer, that's a twofer Babushka HAS to dance to!  Y bailando under the stars, because they all aligned when #CollectiveBias asked for quick meal recipes using the excelente trio of Kool-Aid Jammers, Kraft American Singles, and Kraft Easy Mac Cups.  Just before I left for Miami, Sweetie had asked about joining Sam's Club, and now I was about to be a member; that was one star. Next, El Dr. was coming to spend another summer with us. Two Stars. And that BB was to buy the same items I used to get for The Trio, my "meals to go". Three Stars.

Babushka was one happy dancer when I went to my Tallahassee Sam's Club and became a member!

There's so much to see and taste at Sam's Club that we made a family outing of it!

 Sweetie got into the swing and happy when he saw the extra saving with the Sam’s Club Instant Savings Booklet.

El Dr., who's usually not too interested in shopping was fascinated by all the items found at Sam's Club- and when he found out what we were there to buy he was even happier!!  Matter of fact, he insisted he wanted to be in EVERY PICTURE! 

jehe Naturally the only 2 w/BB were a bit blurried. Wonder where he got his ham from??   ; )

Arriving home, it was time for Babushka to make El Dr. the same meal I made for his mom, Babushka's Bebe.

1. Pick out your meal.  El Dr. had no problem with that one!

2.READ INSTRUCTIONS!!!

3. Gather ingredients. Veggies & Meat

4. Only need to put in one cucharada of each.

How's that for balanced, nutritious & economical!!

5. COOK.

6. The other ingredients were pretty universal, but this is the Cuban Secret Sauce. 

Adobo. We put it on everything.

7. ♪Shake it up Baby!♪  Mix it well.

8. ENJOY!!!

Babushka asked El Dr. what he thought of Sam's Club, and most importantly what did he think of the food we bought there?  By his answer, you know there's got to be something to genetics...

As BB plans for another Miami visit, I start by making my snack list. Quee?? 

Doesn't everyone start packing with snacks first??  Continuing.

Snacks- the stuff sweet dreams are made of. But sweet isn't always good. Babushka had a lagging, sluggish feeling after those long bus rides and knows it was the snacks in my Popa bag. Balanced and nutritous were missing. Felizmente Oscar Mayer came out with the P3, a portable protein pack that was perfecto for my traveling. Nothing fancy, just practical and powerful. Ok si, JUSOFONII!!!  just like BB. And the price My Beautifuls??  A dollar.  Yes, you read that correctly. Uno, One dollar Americano.  You know what BB had to do ...

Actually, it went like this. 

 BB went into her neighborhood Wakulla Walmart and found the P3 right away.

And then when I saw the price...

ESO!!!

As you saw My Beautifuls, I took all they had- which wasn't alot. But honestly, for all that #MeatCheeseProtein I was surprised they even had that much still on the shelves!  Did you see the cantidad, quantity you get for your dinero??

 There are 4 varieties :

 Applewood Smoked Turkey Breast, Applewood Smoked Ham,

Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Breast, and Slow Roasted Turkey Breast.

 Missing is the Ham P3, pero again, I was pleasantly surprised to find these!!

And they really are Yummy in my tummy!

My favorite so far is the Slow Roasted Turkey Breast, and Sweetie's partial to the Rotisserie Seasoned Chicken Breast. We're both looking forward to trying the Applewood Smoke Ham, and keep going back to Walmart to see if it's been restocked!  What can BB say??  We know a good thing when we see it, and as Sweetie said about the P3, "Hey Honey, these here are some of your twofers. They taste good and are good for my wallet."  Babushka couldn't agree more. 

Es mas, and matter of fact, they're now my choice of snack when I do my writing.

Blogging can take horas, and when my muse Marti is on a roll I don't dare stop her. There's nothing better than a quick P3 with its #meatcheesenuts combo to keep BB going.  No lag and no having to stop everything to make a meal.  

DEFINITELY a Babushka Twofer!!
