March Madness - A La BB!!

When Babushka told Sweetie the name of this post, he thought I meant the basketball championships. Of course BB said, JU SO FONII!!! Ok si, it's only 2 years of marriage (on March 1), and he IS a guy, pero still...

March is when the traveling starts for Babushka, and even though January was a jumpin' Up North in The South, the vibes in Miami are totally different and pa'lante with the pace!! Arrived Wednesday, and went straight to Bloggin' Mamas headquarters to work on the final details for the #FamilyTravelChat Tweety Fiesta. Hoy,today,Friday, went down to Miami to stay in Little Havana with La Tata. There I found:

BB was sent that from Olay because "We are so glad to see such engaging and fun spirited people such as yourself participating in such a fabulous fiesta"  They were talking about the #MyCloseUp Tweety Fiesta +babushkas bebe and Babushka had attended the week before. Nice verdad??

Tonight is Viernes Culturales, where Calle Ocho closes the street on the last Friday of each month to showcase its shops,galleries,music,art and vendors. One Big Giant Block Party. Remember, the blocks in Little Havana are loooooonnnnggg so it's bigger than you think!

Ahora, did you notice this Carnaval badge on the blogs sidebar? Guess who's an ambassador for Carnaval Miami?  ESO!!!  Babushka was chosen as "Culture" Ambassador. A more detailed post is soon to come about this great chain of Carnaval Miami events organized by the Little Havana Kiwanis  but suffice to say Sunday is the #CarnavalRun2015

Besides, y'all should make every effort to see and hear her in person yourselves. As it was, BB could only attend the first day, and I must repeat Part 1 of this series by thanking the nice people of #Orgullosa for this opportunity. After 2+ months in Miami, BB tries to summarize the many blessings encountered. Of course I can't do it all justice, and without pics,notes,brochures, the memory isn't coming up with todo, so before BB forgets, let's start with the last week.  Quee?? JUSOFONII Ok si, Babushka does usually go backwards and against the norm doesn't she??  Pero you know what? That's what Oprah says makes us special, being true to ourselves. And I heard that straight from her. Oh Si BB did!!!

Gracias to the wonderful world of Orgullosa, the P&G division for Latinas, Babushka was able to attend Oprah's "The Life You Want " event in Miami. On to OTown BB went. With sombrilla in hand and bus pass ready, Sweetie & BB were set to experience the world of O.
