Does that foto seem like fun and a goodtime was had by all?  ESO!!

From the momento we stepped into the Loan Depot Park, our excitement was all over the place, and we were so up, we didn’t know which way to go first!! The Miami Minis, Babushka’s Bunch in Miami, had gone to a Monster Jam before, but never had attended a “Pit Party”. Beautifuls, they had fun the primera vez, but this was beyond fun, this was ExtraExtra.

Laughing Buddha was beside himself ; he loves arts and crafts! Not only did he get to see the Monster Trucks up close, but he got to color them and build a model!!! BB got to do a little coloring herself. See the cool mohawk she made?? Fun for child and adults, algo pa' todos. Truly an extra worth the little extra, is the Pit Party.

Woah and Wow.

Beautifuls, cuando BB says this was a total experience, she isn't being Cubanita. There was cheering, jeering, concern (when cars flipped) and congratulations throughout the event. With names like, Grave Digger, Zombie, Monster Mutt, El Toro Loco, you know the competition was gonna be fun, fierce, and for real. Good theater for sure, put on by expert drivers and enthusiastic fans. Babushka was swept away with it all and knows you'd be too.  Pero the best of it all??

Lifelong memorias of a great time had by all.

Babushka wholeheartedly says go attend #MonsterJam as soon as you can.

Without a doubt, a Disney on Ice show is  spectacular, on so many levels.

 Babushka's Bunch was so thrilled with the invite, some of them came down all the way from Jacksonville to see the show in Miami! That's the well deserved reputation of these shows. Quality all around in every performance; the magic and joy is in the air before it even starts. Then again, not many programs have such well known and much loved characters...

Where is Tinkerbell???

And so the search and the show comienza. At what a search it is!! 

Through so many diferente mundos, pero todos knew them.  One of the happy factores of a 

Disney on Ice production is that aunque the plot is different, the songs are the same.

 What a wonderful thing to witness, an entire audience cantando their favorite Disney cancion.

 Entire intergenerational familias, singing with smiles and clapping along with la musica. Pero this the only reason it's loved? JU SO FONII!! The All Around Artistry is Astounding. From the sets, to the costumes, the props to the souvenir popcorn, all phenomenal, and the actual performances?

The choreography and precision of the skating is truly enchanted, as befits a Disney production.

Coco was Laughing Buddha's favorito.

If y'all have been bailando with Babushka you know FAMILIA IS TODO.  Family bonding is sumamente importante and BB tries to facilitate it as much as she can. It can definitely be challenging, especially when half of  The Grands live in Miami and the other half live Up North in The South near Babushka.  Now the older Grands have no problem with the bonding and having great memories of cousin time because they all lived in Miami when they were younger and grew up together, but the two little ones, Dr. J and Laughing Buddha are growing up far away from each other. OJO- growing up far away does not have to equal growing apart, at least not if this Groovy Grandma has any choice in the matter.

If you read the above caption, you'll see that this is the first solo ride Dr.J has taken on the Redcoach with BB. He was encantado, didn't even use the iPad the whole trip. He truly enjoyed the actual viaje and experience. Pretty cool for a 4 year old. We had conversations and observations durante those 4 hours. Again, Pretty Cool for a 4 year old.

Arriving at the Orlando Station, we waited for DIL and Laughing Buddha. Quee?? You thought BB was going to go sola with The Little Grands? Beautifuls, BB stands for Bohemian Babushka, not BoBa. She picked us up and we stayed at her friend's casa, the founder of the Kai Jeremiah Foundation. Babushka will definitely be sharing more about that organization in the near futuro. Pero for now, we got the little ones to bed for the next days aventura.

A Comenzar the Fun!!

BB got some abuela time in and  fun was had by all, pero the most importante, 

the primos partnered in many memorias. Mission Accomplished.

Now time to go back on RedCoach.

Dr. J looking forward to another ride on "The Big Red Bus".

Until he realized we were going back to casa.

Honestamente, BB can't blame him. We had an incredible time at Legoland.  

With a promise of coming back again, he settled in and enjoyed his trip back to Babushka's.

BB Blabs 'Bout 'Buela - Show 1 w/ @FelixMontelara

Did you know that originally this blog was supposed to be a radio program?  Babushka's Baile was to be on blogtalk radio... but then BB realized she needed someone to talk to, guests, listeners.  Not that Babushka couldn't talk all by herself for at least 30 minutes, Cubana al fin, but it's more fun with others.  So the show was put on the back burner for awhile, 'till there was more of an audience.  That back burner turned into a slowcooker; it took almost 5 years to come full circle.  And once again, it was thanks to Hispanicize that it came to be.

The true start of Babushka's aventuras were thanks to that fateful time BB approached Maria de los Angeles during a Travel Blogger panel in the 2012 Hispanicize. Because it was asked, the chance taken, the offer to be part of the American Latino Heritage Fund Roadtrip was made. And Babushka's never looked back.

In 2015, another panel was given, tambien en HIspanicize, and this one was on podcasting.  The panel was fascinating, and here was where, Felix Montelara, The Potential Millionaire, became special in Babushka's vida. Aqui lo bautize, The Preacher of Podcasting, porque even as an audience member, Felix was especially informative and entertaining. The memory of BB's original vision returned, pero honestly, it was a bit intimidating this new, technologically heavy world, so although we spoke briefly on the vision, the show estaria cocinanco otro año.

Come 2016, another panel on podcasting at Hispanicize, no denying las ganas, y cuando Felix approached BB, remembering her from the prior year and asking if she had started her broadcast yet, it was taken as a sign.  The audience and following had been made, there were guests who could be invited, it was time to do the show.

"BB's Blab 'Bout 'Buelos",the program where Grandparents Gloat and Grandchildren Remember. A place where we never tire of hearing how precious and precocious son los nietos, and also how precious and dear were your abuelos.  Our first show was on Sunday, and since the S Sisters continue to bless BB, guess who was the first guest?  None other than Mr. Felix Montelara himself!!  

Just as it had happened w/My Capitan Maria, paso con Felix. By Babushka taking the initiative of approaching them, she ended up working with them. BB not follow a dream? JU SO FONII!!! Remember this Beautifuls, take that chance, tu nunca sabes...
